Regarding the BDR-207's (specifically 207-DBK) what is the 'drive platform'? I found this model on marketplace for $20 and I'm considering taking the gamble but it sounds like most likely it will not be supported?
To old if your looking to do UHD 208 and newer for 5.25 drives and xd05 and newer for slims if you want UHD

Currently, no. The firmware is too new. Must be pre 12/2022. You will have to wait for future support.
Cheers :D

Three drives:

Code: Select all

Highest AACS version: 78

LibreDrive Information
Status: Possible, not yet enabled
Drive platform: Pioneer RS8511
Firmware version: ID26

#2
Drive Information
Manufacturer: PIONEER
Product: BD-RW BDR-XS07
Revision: 1.03
Firmware date: 2023-01-06
Bus encryption flags: 13
Highest AACS version: 78

LibreDrive Information
Status: Possible, not yet enabled
Drive platform: Pioneer RS8E20
Firmware version: GENE

#3
Drive Information
Manufacturer: PIONEER
Product: BD-RW BDR-XS07

Bus encryption flags: 13
Highest AACS version: 78

LibreDrive Information
Status: Possible, not yet enabled
Drive platform: Pioneer RS8E20

... and am I right in thinking that all three of these need to wait for the promised Pioneer support that's coming and all of them are UHD-capable but will need a cross-flash to get it?

I have read the flashing guide, but that leaves me more in teh dark, so im hoping someone would help me.

I have the following drive;

I have bought the ASUS-BW-16D1X-U External USB 3.0 Drive

MakeMKV Shows the following

---
Drive Information
OS device name: \Device\CdRom0 E:
Current profile: BD-ROM
Manufacturer: ASUS
Product: BW-16D1X-U
Revision: E113
Serial number:
Firmware date: 2020-07-21
Bus encryption flags: 1B
Highest AACS version: 19

LibreDrive Information
Status: Possible, not yet enabled
