How do you flash a UHD HP HLDS BDRE BU40N Drive?

I bought this from Amazon. I don't know if it can be flashed, or do I have to return it and buy one from here. It is an external drive. Here is what shows up on Makemkv:

Flash it with BU40N 1.03-MK firmware.

Hi. I have a HP HLDS BDRE BU40N Drive as well. I can confirm to you that I have successfully flashed the firmware of my drive and have RIPPED 'UNTIL DAWN' 4K a 2025 movie to MKV file. The firmware used is: HL-DT-ST-BD-RE_BU40N-1.03-NM00000-211810241934 (extracted from DE_LG_BU40N_1.03_MK.bin) file in the 'Slim External Drives' folder from the "All You Need Firmware Pack" folder.
