discs not working, dump files too large for forum

Post by littlebits »

Two different versions of "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" neither works. Dumpfile can't be added, says too large? about 18MB How can I send them in so it can be fixed?

Maybe you can upload the dump to OneDrive, Google Drive, etc and post the link here?

First up, the process is to always email dumps to svq@makemkv.com. Do it in separate emails using the dump file name as the email subject.

Additionally if you want to help with getting a record of your disc added to the public KeyDB, you should upload the dump files to a host somewhere (googledrive, onedrive, mediafire etc) then provide the download link here. If you do this, please include the complete dump file name(s) in your post.
Cheers :D

for some reason makemkv was acting up, when I rebooted today (don't reboot too often) and lauched it again to get the dump files again, it simply ripped them... not sure what went wrong since it didn't work, but they are in order now *shrug* computers work in mysterious ways some times

On Windows this often happens after Windows update. Make sure to reboot after it.

I shutdown my PC every night when I go to bed!!

Someone else may have submitted the same dumps you had and Mike has added support for them.
Cheers :D
