No video with "Soundstage" concerts

#1 Post by seymour » Fri Jan 20, 2012 7:25 pm

This link talks about my issue - http://www.makemkv.com/forum2/viewtopic ... age#p11977

Content from Soundstage Blu Ray's wont yield anything but audio. Wont show video in any of the transcoder preview window's and wont playback in any software clients at least not in Mac OS 10.6.8 or 10.7.2. Is anyone else out there having the same issue? My goal is also to build a home file based media server, nothing else.

If someone else wants to dive into this one, testing it wont cost you much ;-)

Google confirms that this disc is indeed 1080i VC-1. Under OS X, the only decoder for interlaced VC-1 is Flip4Mac (reportedly), though that's hardly a workaround.
