Hi -- I have the following. I tried to follow the advice I could find, and got an older Pioneer drive with firmware from 2019. I assume it's flashable. Just need the tools to do it. Finding the tools is what I'm not entirely clear on.

My PIONEER XS07TUHD is not on the list.
Libredrive is possible but not enabled.

1. Pioneer drives cannot be flashed using MakeMKV's SDFtool. The Pioneer flashing tool is not publicly available.
2. Even if you can get LibreDrive enabled, it will not be able to read UHD discs as it is too old an incompatible.

Got it.

If possible, I'd be content to flash this into a regular, non-UHD LibreDrive BR drive. :D

Otherwise, I guess it's a spare DVD reader.

Regarding the BDR-207's (specifically 207-DBK) what is the 'drive platform'? I found this model on marketplace for $20 and I'm considering taking the gamble but it sounds like most likely it will not be supported?
