Is MakeMKV Still Alive? Can't Buy License, Beta Key Expired

Does anyone know what's up with MakeMKV? The license purchase option doesn't work, and the beta key hasn't been updated.
Is this the end, or just a long pause? Any alternatives if it's really dead?

MakeMKV's author hasn't made any public statements I'm aware of.

In my view, this is just an unfortunate confluence of events. I don't think MakeMKV is dead. I hope things will be sorted out soon.

Many of us are wanting to purchase but are unable. Dozens of threads by other people who tried to purchase but got no key or want to purchase but the purchase page is disabled. Unfortunately the payment processor (PayPro) is unable to provide us with keys until Mike returns to supply them.

Whether Mike is alive & well was & is a topic of discussion...
Could be he is not.
Could be he went on vacation but was not expecting buyers to be unable to get keys.
Could be he went on vacation and expected buyers would be unable to get keys and is hoping this convinces many more people using it free to buy when he finally returns.
Could be the evil corpo bastards are trying to prevent MakeMKV allowing users to digitize the media they purchase and are somehow interfering in all this.
I could continue listing many more possibilities, but point is at this time none of us know.

Is there a workaround for this? The Beta key is expired.

Only one known to work at the moment is to set your computer's Date back to some day prior to the Expiration date of 7/31/2025
