Hi any please.just purchased verbatim external writer .not read 4k discs or write .do need reflash.is current version software .not good .it is libredrive. If so which old file would I choose any help many thanks. Mark

Yes it needs to be flashed to enable libredrive and 4K readability. Flash it with BU40N 1.03-MK firmware.

Hi ,from novice flashing verbatim 4888 slim writer.from bd,re, Bu ,mt 1959 libredrive possible not enabled.Installed & flashed bu40n 1.03 bin file with martys,and gui flash tool 1.36 . Should this drive work for uhd blue ray .mkv maker , still not decrypting or recognise ing ,disc just spinning with blue light on. Any help please. Banging my head again st brick wall..thanks again.
