MKV's created with 1.7.0 Crash Windows Explorer Consistently

Since upgrading to Version 1.7 (Registered version) I appear to have hit a problem with MKV's created with MakeMKV.

The actual creation of the file is fine. Makemkv creates the file just fine, but when I browse to the directory where the file is stored my explorer.exe crashes in windows 7 64.

I have tried an MKV creation on 5 different BluRay Discs including ones I have created successfully before and they also crash windows.

My Machine Specs for reference are

Windows 7 64 Bit
16 GB memory
I7 2600K OC to 4.8Ghz
Dual 250GB SSD's
Dual 2TB Sata 3 HD's

Can anyone help or has anyone experienced such a problem?

Have you installed any DivX software recently?

I think you have CoreAVC Codec installed, uninstall it.
There is an error with the preview of the mkv thumbnails and forces the explorer (win7 64bit) to crash.
There is no solution yet, use e.g. K-Lite Code Pack with FFMPEG for trancoding MKV files.
