Illegal request error

Post by m4kultra »

Hi, I've been trying to rip my 4k copy of kung fu panda 4, but got this error, saying that the 'key was not present'
Similar error pops up with other movies I’ve tried like with my 4k copies of kung fu panda 1, guardians of the galaxy 3, south park bigger longer uncut, sonic the hedgehog 3, the bad guys
The bluray version that came with KFP 4 however, works perfectly fine, like with all blurays and dvd's I have.
I got the 4k bluray drive I’m using for christmas last year and most of the 4k blurays I’ve been using were bought beforehand
The model is an Archgon Ultra slim optical drive model: MD-8107-U3
if someone could please help me out, it would be greatly appreciated

Your drive is not flashed to support LibreDrive. Ripping UHDs requires a drive that supports LibreDrive.

Your BU40N should be easy enough to flash. Ultimate UHD Drives Flashing Guide

You need to flash the drive to enable libredrive and UHD readability.
Cheers :D
