I have 2 pioneer drive with firmware that lets me use makemkv to rip 4k disks. I was told that windows 10 and 11 may change the firmware without my knowledge and make my drives not 4k rippers. Both drives are in daily used computers at home . Am i worrying for nothing or is there a possibility of windows messing up my deal? If so can I lock windows out of my drive without disconnecting them for my computers?
Thanks in advance
