Bricked LG BU40N

Hello
I recently bought a bargain Verbatim 43888, with LG BU40N drive, unfortunately it is bricked, how can I fix it ?

What did you do to it??

You could try using the old ASUS flasher and flash BU40N 1.03-MK firmware. It doesn't do any checks whatsoever so should be able to flash the firmware. viewtopic.php?p=70766#p70766

im also curious what you did
but encrypted fw makes recovery much more complicated it seems

I bought the used bricked drive. I tried to upload through Flasher asus, and LG, unfortunately I got errors popping up.

I was able to fix with this firmware, and now it works as expected (I bought this drive for 10 bucks) :)
