Anyone else have a BDR-212V die a few days after flashing and ripping?

I had maybe a dozen or so of successful rips, no problems, ripped a disc that my LG drive refused to. Working fine until earlier today.
It just died on me after an error during makeMKV CLI use. Stupid me didn't record the error, thinking I just needed a restart or something.
I restarted, and it wasn't detected in linux, switched to a win10 image, not detected. Pulled the drive, used a unitek external adapter (works with my LG one just fine), and nothing.
Not recognized on either linux, win10, or win11. Neither native sata/power plugged in or unitek adapter show it giving any life. Had to manually eject my 4k disc in there.

Anyone have any thoughts?
