I know this error has been brought up many times, but I'm unsure how to solve it at this point. I have an external Pioneer USB 4K player that works well about 50% of the time, but some movies just will not rip. I have it connected to a powered Anker USB hub, so I don't think it is a power issue (but I could be wrong). I also clean my new discs with a damp microfiber towel and then dry them off before ripping, but that only helps every once in a while. My process has been to just keep retying a disc until it finishes the rip, but that is getting tiresome.
Does anyone have any thoughts on how to fix this?

The error message you mention points to a the drive not getting enough power.
What specific drive do you have?

if it is an external drive, did you use the supplied cord with two USB's (if it had one)?
