Issues with "Number 23" DVD

I had an older issue of this DVD and tried ripping and backing up, with no success. I ordered a new copy and it plays fine in the player, but I still get a failure when either ripping or backing up. I would like to get some help to either understand what is wrong and how to fix it, or to give up

I just need to know what information is needed and how to collect the log or whatever else is required. Thanks

Can you post your MakeMKV output from trying to rip this DVD?

FWIW, I also was unable to rip my Number 23 DVD, with MakeMKV or AnyDVD, with my DVD drive or my Blu-ray drive. MakeMKV gives me a media read error, but the disc appears immaculate. I'm assuming a problem in the mastering process, either accidental or intentional, but I'm not wasting my time or money to try to figure it out.

I would appreciate hearing if anyone out there has successfully ripped this movie and if so, more details on your DVD to see if there's a particular version of this movie that is easier to rip.
