Inconsistent Output

I have recently ripped a single title on a blu-ray 4 times using 1.17.0 on two different computers using two different drives. Using FC.exe, and FCB.exe, none exactly match each other. MD5 sums don't match either. MakeMKV did not output any errors during these rips. Should they match?

I found this 2011 thread which seems to infer that output should match: viewtopic.php?t=3660

Background- some of my rips are not playing correctly in plex when subtitles are enabled. They have told me the files are likely to blame. I decided to start by checking if my rips match when using multiple drives to see if a drive is the issue.

If you use the utility MediaInfo you'll see that part of the metadata contained in a .mkv file includes a date and time of when the file was made. That'll be different between the files.
