When I copy a DVD that has multiple titles (like a TV series), I can only do one at a time, and have to eject and re-read the disk each time to do the next one.

I have to Rip Titles one at a time
Re: I have to Rip Titles one at a time
And what are you doing to trigger this? MakeMKV will normally offer to do individual titles, but the default is to have all titles over your minimum length selected.

Re: I have to Rip Titles one at a time
In the past I would just go with the default of having them all selected.
If I do that now, the first track will copy, then I get an error message and it aborts the rest of the tracks. So I eject the disk, re-load, and select only the next track in line. That then copies fine.
An alternate scenario is that there's 4 minute pause between tracks before it goes on with the next. Much faster just to eject and select the next track.
Thanks!

Re: I have to Rip Titles one at a time
Is it JUST this disk, or all disks?

Re: I have to Rip Titles one at a time
All disks. It's been happening for a while, but wasn't paying attention as to when it started
Re: I have to Rip Titles one at a time
It could be an issue with the software not handling multiple titles properly in the latest version. Maybe try updating or rolling back to a previous version, or check if there are any settings that might help with batch copying.
Re: I have to Rip Titles one at a time
That's a strange issue for sure. What error message does it show?
Did you change anything recently? Which port(s) your drive is plugged into? Any settings on your machine?
It is possible, of course, that there's a bug in the latest version of MakeMKV. However, I think if it was something like you can't rip more than one thing in a row the forums would be ablaze with complaints from users.
With that said, if you try an older version, as Juviaxx suggests, does it have the same behavior? (https://makemkv.com/download/old/)
Did this behavior start happening when you installed a specific version of MakeMKV?

Re: I have to Rip Titles one at a time
Yesterday a tried on an older system, with v1.17.7 still installed, and everything worked as expected.
Nothing has changed on my Win11 machine, other than Windows Updates.
