Is it possible to make it work with UHDs?

I was looking to buy a Verbatim 43888 but the prices on Amazon Uk have been quite high recently and now they are not available at all. The 43890 is available and is cheaper than the 43888 but I saw that the 43890 has to be flashed to read UHD’s.

So would it be best to wait for the 43888 to come back into stock or just buy the 43890 and flash it? How much does it cost to flash the 43890 and can all 43890’s be flashed?

it cost $25 USD see below but they may eventually swap that one to a LG drive too you want the one with a pioneer its much better
