In fact, I wonder about one more thing. Will the option to burn discs that I currently have still be available after such a flash? Has anyone done this and knows? Of course, I'm thinking about Blu-ray discs.

Which means? I was not able to find the exact same circumstances in other postings, everything else works out fine and the software is doing its job perfectly, which is a reason to be happy :)

Your drive needs to be flashed to read UHDs.

Sorry, I don't usually use the forums too much, my experience with ripping is based on the use of my Verbatim 43888, which does not have to be modified. I already have a good number of digitized titles and I had almost no problems until I reached a couple of discs from the Game of Thrones series, with which I tried several of the tips given in this forum regarding cleaning the discs without a positive result. As a consequence, I decided to buy another reader that I saw on Amazon at a good price, the one mentioned in the post, although this one needs to be modified to read UHD discs. I would appreciate any advice on this, thank you and best regards.
