ripping megamind from bdmv folder on hard drive

#1 Post by dee6567 » Mon Nov 14, 2011 3:40 pm

hi
i am new to this and just wondering why i am having problems ripping megamind from a iso i aquired.
from the iso i extracted megamind using power iso which was 42gb.
tried making a mkv from the bdmv folder removing everything except true hd ,ac3 and movie file.
when it completes it has only ripped half of the movie.
i cant understand what has happened to the rest of the film.

i have made mkv movies in this way before and never had problems with other movies.

please can someone tell me whats going on. its driving me mad.

thanks

For discussion at this forum (and most other technical forums), you should be using ONLY original, commercial discs as your initial source material.

hi
sorry for misrepresenting my earlier request.
i made the back up from my original blue ray dics.
i tried making the mkv direct from the disc and got the same result.
this is why i backed it up as an iso and tried it this way and got same results.

thanks

Then you've made it clear that your original, commercial disc (your INITIAL source for all of your efforts) is damaged.

Return it to the place of purchase in exchange for a new one...
