Have you flashed the drive yet? Show us the MakeMKV info.

Drive dont know the media inserted, I try to play Venom 4 Ultrahd disc. its a Asus BW-16D1HT with f/w V3.10

Here is more info from MakeMKV, running win 10 Pro, Is it possible to play this media, I have read on this forum its possible...

You'll need to flash new FW. Refer to 1st post of the guide.

Asus BW-16D1HT on any Firmware directly to > Asus BW-16D1HT 3.10MK

works with a DVD fine makemkv but it put it in a iso file but UHD dont work

Have you tested it with several 4k discs like adviced in the other topic or only with the one you had? Clean disc? No srcatches? Initialisation with Windows before openig the MakeMKV app?

Hi there no i only have one 4K UHD disk but i have ordered some more when they come i will test them and let you know thank you
i know this is off the topic but i saved my original firmware with make mkv but i need to convert it back from tar to bin can anyone on here do it for me plz thank you

Why do you want do this?

From tar to bin I don't know actually, but you can flash the original 1.00 for the BU40N which can be found in the all-you-need firmware pack.

That tgz dump is not the firmware file. It is only the important bits like the cal data. You cannot flash this to the drive.
