dont know my name of my drive

i'm so sorry if i put my question in the wrong group selection Hi ive just registered today so im very new to this i bought my blu-ray drive when it first in 2006 i think so don't quote me on it
don't know my name of my drive but i have downloaded this make mkv then i tried it for the first time just to get the info of my blu-ray drive
then it gave me a lot of info but i need to know would make mkv rip the 4k disk to my ssd 2tb or would i need to flash it with a firmware from here plz

Hi thank you i put a 4k blu-ray in to my drive it has read the format ok but when i try to rip it with make mkv it keep on giving me errors when it read the 4k disk any help would be appreciated.
so if it read the 4k disk ok do i still need to flash my drive plz

Your drive won't be able to rip a 4K UHD until it is flashed with the right firmware. You can either do it yourself by reading the Ultimate UHD Drives Flashing Guide or contact Billycar11 via email and for a modest fee he'll send you an auto flasher that'll properly flash your drive for you (assuming you're on Windows).

thank you so much yes im on windows 11 and i know how to flash drives but i cant see the right flash firmware thank you
