Both the English and French DB have the exact same keys. The only difference is how disc titles are listed. So either option would work for you. Just make sure you follow the instructions carefully and unzip the downloaded file.

Download the keydb_eng.zip file
Unzip the keydb_eng.zip to get keydb.cfg
Copy the keydb.cfg file to the ".tgz makemkv folder"

Do not paste the keydb_eng.zip or keydb_fra.zip files into the ".tgz makemkv folder"
