Why not add this to one of the existing Twisters threads instead of starting a new one???
Cheers :D

Interesting development. The computer I am using has the latest v1.17.8 of MakeMKV installed. I have another computer with v1.17.5 of MakeMKV installed, so I decided to give that a try. Lo and behold, it downloaded the new HK file and ripped the disk without an issue. v1.17.8 does not appear to attempt the HK download, and it's recently been upgraded and I don't recall if this version has ever fetched the new HK. "Use Internet" is enabled. Still researching.....

Now it's working correctly on the v1.17.8 installation. It never said it was pulling the new HK. Who knows. All good now !!
