LG BU40N same as HLDS Bu40N?

Got a person local with the HLDS,new in the box. Are they the same. Can I flash the firmware for the LG BU40N on it?

i have the same and was able to flash the firmware from MakeMKV

It's the same.

HLDS is an acronym for Hitachi-LG Data Storage.
