There are so many instructions that have been convoluted with new versions and versions that say not to do it.
I would appreciate any help with flashing an LG BP60NB10 slim
It's on the model numbers accepted, then it says "do not flash a slim drive"
Egregiously confusing.
TMI here, direct instructions for BP60NB10 slim?

On Windows, use SDFtool FlasherBP60NB10 on any Firmware directly to > BP60NB10 1.02MK
Re: TMI here, direct instructions for BP60NB10 slim?
Which of the thousands of words am I supposed to be paying attention to?
There are old versions, then something that says "New!" and it's so hard to understand what is going on.
The flasher is clearly outlined, however, I click on the LG link and they specifically say it's not for a slim drive.
I hope you can understand my complete confusion.

Sorry, I thought I had pared it down to a manageable 'bite'...abuttino wrote: ↑Fri Nov 22, 2024 9:54 pmWhich of the thousands of words am I supposed to be paying attention to?

From the recommended FW section (in the 1st post) I highlighted the relevant line & provided a link the the FW archive containing the specified FW...
Last folder in the linked archive is... 'LG slim USB BP60NB10'.
The only FW in that folder is 'HL-DT-ST-BD-RE_BP60NB10-1.02-NM00800-212005070935.bin'.
The SDF Flasher is here .

On the "New!" download the version is:
HL-DT-ST-BD-RE_ WH16NS60-1.02-NMO0100-211810291936.bin
Not 935

May I suggest using AI to clean up these posts? It's beyond confusing.
"Do not use this firmware if you have a slim drive"
"Ya! Use that one that says not to use it"

Re: TMI here, direct instructions for BP60NB10 slim?
I have emphasized that ONLY the 1st post of these topics is meaningful & regularly maintained. And I've distilled it down to the parts important to you. You insist on reading beyond what you need. Ignore it.
The guide recommends "BP60NB10 on any Firmware directly to > BP60NB10 1.02MK" for your drive.
That FW is provided in an archive listed in that 1st post... reposted here.
The archive contains a number of folders. One of which is named 'LG slim USB BP60NB10'. You asked if this was for the slim drive. 'slim' is contained in the name & when you asked if it was for the 'slim' drive, I responded "it is".
The 'LG slim USB BP60NB10' folder contains the FW you need to flash... 'HL-DT-ST-BD-RE_BP60NB10-1.02-NM00800-212005070935.bin'. Extract that file & use the SDF Flasher to flash your drive.
