Update when new disc is inserted

#1 Post by magsol76 » Wed Nov 06, 2024 4:15 pm

I am just wondering if there is a way to make MakeMKV recognize when a new disc is inserted in the discdrive WITHOUT having to restart the application. If i select "Select disc" the it just goes straigt to the mkv-ripper (but it recognizes the new disc). Since I am doing backups of my discs I want the entire disc, not just the separate videofiles.

This is no major problem, just a small nitpick but it would be nice to not have to restart the application whenever a new disc is inserted.

It should be default just make sure you click the ok pop up when the first disc is done then eject the disc and out a new one in

I do this every day with mine works fine if it's not working for you , you likely have a different issue any VMS or junk like that?

Do not click the optical drive icon!! Just wait and use the second icon for ripping to folder.
