NO_ANSWER_FROM_MAKEMKVCON

Today i upgraded my makeMKV to 1.17.8 (Lubuntu 20.04.6, Kernel 5.13.0-35). After the update, i got following errormsg:

NO_ANSWER_FROM_MAKEMKVCON

I did some search, found infos here, on Reddit and GitHub, but nothing that solves this (also did a reinstall n stuff).

Any suggestions here?

I had the exact same issue. Running Debian.

I followed @segfaulted's guide.

I was missing both GLIBC v2.33 and 2.34. So I ran the guide twice fully for both versions and am now up and running again. v2.40 is no-go.
run $makemkvcon to check which versions you are missing.

Besides the process segfaulted described I had to install the following first
$apt-get install patchelf gawk bison
