Flashing ASUS-BW-16D1HT on Linux?

Post by Jerphf » Sun Oct 20, 2024 11:19 pm

Hello, I have recently made a Plex server for my family on a Linux system (my first linux experience, been pretty great). I've followed the guides posted here to get makeMKV installed but I'm a bit perplexed by the drive flashing instructions. Have I misread something? I have a windows pc I can flash the drive with, but I'd like to keep it hooked up to the server. Any help would be appreciated, and feedback as I've never used a forum.

The GUI SDF Tool is probably the easiest way to flash a drive if you can at least temporarily connect the drive to a Windows machine. If you want to flash on a Mac or a linux machine you have to do it via the command line.
