MakeMKV has an issue with the 25th Anniversary release of "Rain Man." (https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Rain-Man-Blu-ray/95064/). It is a BD-J disc.
It will rip it to a folder successfully, but the results are unplayable in PowerDVD (I tried 3 different versions. All up-to-date). A screen comes up stating the player needs a "firmware" update to play the disc.
I reripped it with XReveal and it plays fine.
Just thought I'd let the developer know. I'd post a log file, but I don't know if MakeMKV generates them. I didn't see one in my ".makemkv" folder.

Oh, I forgot to mention. PowerDVD will also play the disc directly just fine.
