Hello.
I can tell you why.
The NS50 or NS51 can do this too, but the tracks are not exactly set in the drive itself.
Screw on the lower lid, there you can see 3x Phillips-head screws.
You don't do anything in the middle.
Turn the left screw slowly to the right or left and see if the directory is read better.
The right screw is for driving to the directory content of the files.
Again, carefully turn to the left or right.
Please mark beforehand.
This can help to read the medium faster.
What nonsense are you talking?
Are you some AI junk
There is no trimmer pot on the bottom of the drive to make it read better.
Second time this week someone is just making up nonsense about UHD drives
No, I'm not from KI!
That's not nonsense, because they are the lenses on the head and they have to be precisely adjusted to be able to read Blu-Ray.
If the track is not correct, there are read errors.
I have already done this with several drives of NS40 MT1939 and NS50 MT1959.
Whether LG, Hitachi or ASUS.
The drives are the same.
All of them have these adjustment screws and are not always precisely adjusted by the manufacturer!
When you unscrew the lower lids, you can see 3x silver screws there.
You can see this when you have screwed on the lower lid Only adjust the left and right screws.
Turn a little to the right or left.
Please mark beforehand!
