hello all, I use dvdfab so i tried to flash my new LGns55 to LGns60_1.00_bin and got error code: 0x82052603.

Any suggestion, please help...

follow the guide below flashing sequence if its not follow it wont work.

I purchased an LG BP50NB40 NB52, and followed the instructions to flash and cross flash. But it would not read any BD or UHD BD disc. So I tried to flash another version and attempt recovery, but at this point it seems to be bricked as the tray will not open now, and I get error 0xff05c103. MakeMKV shows No disk and the tray open. When I try to write or recover, it finishes fast 'Done' but doesn't seem to do anything.

Well, everything worked until last night, and now the drive doesn't read discs of any type. Every time I load a disc (be it DVD, BD or UHD) it spins for 10 seconds and then says there is "No disc". I am on Mac and have used Terminal commands (see my last post from May up above). Please help @d00zah, @dcoke22, and of course @MartyMCNuts!

this is very common for lg/asus drives this is why pioneers are the recommended drives.

pull power for a min then reconnect and try again reboot pc to it that dont work after 2 times its dead

Hi I am trying to Flash my LG BD-RE WH14NS40 drive to rip 4K DVDs. The drive is installed on PC running windows 10. Internal Drive. My current drive firmware is 1.03.
I read through the forums.

1. Downloaded SDFtool Flashes 1.3.5 to flash HL-DT-ST-BD-RE_WH16NS60-1.02-NM00100-211810291936.bin

I am having a few issues and was wondering if someone can help.

1. When I launch SDFtool the window is all scrunched up. I can see MT1959 text and encrypted txt but can't see its status. When I click the Read or write button I get the following error: "The Drive you have selected does not have the correct drive platform (MT1959) and cannot be flashed. Under MakerMKV it shows the platform at MT1939. So is this drive not patchable?

I have LG WH16NS60. I want to flash the 1.02 MK on it.
I have issues with sdf Tool. When I read Firmware it creates an empty folder.
When I want to write simply nothing is happening.
What I'm doing wrong? Can somebody help me pls?

Not compatible with Win7. Win 10 x64 and Win 11 x64 required. Did you not read the requirements?? Also, make sure you are running as admin.

It happens from time to time.

Disconnect power and data connections to the drive and let it sit for 24 hours.
Then reconnect and it should be fine.

Don't believe the Pioneer hype. The ASUS is the best drive there is!

Hi everyone. I'm new here. found a video about updating drives to read 4k blu ray. I'm not a massively tech minded person but i try my best with things. Ive got a Blu ray drive (i believe its a bdxl drive) which i would like to perhaps update to read 4k discs. However the tool comes back with an error code when i try it. the drive is
HL-DT-ST_BDDVDRW_UH12NS40_1.01_211711231550_S1K9SG8OG562

The Error code when trying to patch to WH16 1.02 as per the first page od this thread is 0x82052400

Any help as to if this drive can be patched or not and what i may be doing wrong would be great.
The drive is fitted to an external USB3 enclosure if that helps any.

Your enclosure might be the issue. What model is it?

Are you trying to flash WH16NS60 1.02-MK or WH16NS40 1.02? It should be the former.
