Can't extract all titles from CSI Season 1 BlueRay

#1 Post by tabish121 » Sat Jul 16, 2011 9:24 pm

Just got the CSI Season 1 BlueRay set and having issues Ripping some of
the episodes from certain discs. I've attached the requested debug
info.

The tracks that do come off the disc are not able to be played, at least
there's no video anyway the audio seems to be ok. I've tried playing
back the files with VLC and SMplayer and neither can show the video.

The discs work fine in my BlueRay player though.

Using the latest v1.6.12 on Fedora 14 x64

The M2TS file is corrupted. Please try making a full disc backup with MakeMKV and see if any hashcheck errors show up.

Attempt to extract the disc again using v 1.6.15 and still fails on the same title.

Unfortunately it IS a bug in MakeMKV and more information may be needed. How soon the error happens after you press "Make MKV" button? Where is the progress indicator - somewhere at start, in the middle or at the end?

Operation successfully completed

LIBMKV_TRACE: Exception: Error while reading input
Failed to save title 4 to file /downloads/Video/CSI_S1_D2/title04.mkv

It happens pretty much right away, only a few seconds after the "Saving 1 titles" log statement as seen above.

Tested against version 1.6.16 produces the same result
Saving 5 titles into directory /downloads/Video/CSI_S1_D2
Forced subtitles track #4 turned out to be empty and was removed from output file
Program reads data faster than it can write to disk, consider upgrading your hard drive if you see many of these messages.
