My set should arrive today. You say the last 2 are blu-rays - Does that mean the last episodes are 1080p rather than 4K? Or do those discs just have extras?

no, he means that the last two discs are standard blu-ray discs (which include only the special features).
the other 23 discs are 4K UHD and contain all the episodes.

I've started ripping mine (currently on the 1st disc as I type this), and MakeMKV is already able to rip them.

Most tend to be about 7.5GB to 8.5GB, but there are some that are around 9GB or 10GB. There's also a double-length one at the end of season 9 which is both episodes 23 and 24, and that one is 19.4GB.

I've been ripping my discs, and I'm on the last of the 4K discs. Most of the discs have had trouble being ripped initially, requiring me to clean them in order to be ripped successfully. I've also noticed that the discs are very clear/see-through - I can hold the discs up to a light and I see the light coming through the disc. I'm not sure if that has anything to do with the trouble ripping these discs.

Also, the jewel cases don't really hold the discs securely. There have been multiple discs that aren't held in at all when I've opened the cases.

I've been having trouble ripping the last 4K disc (season 10 disc 2). It seems my disc is just unreadable, even after I clean the disc. Is anyone else having trouble with it?
