dump submitted spiderman across the spider verse

Post by nicacolo » Thu Sep 19, 2024 8:10 pm

This disc said the key was missing so i sent in this file created MKB20_v77_Spider-Man-_Across_The_Spider-Verse_C8EE, but it seems it was submitted before, does the file expire after a certain time and that's why the uhd wouldn't work?

thanks.

It is possible that the key has been submitted AND has been published to decode, but your system is not picking up the update. Showing the start of your log with the disk inserted will help determine if that's the case.

The C8EE file was sent in a year+ ago, and people were able to rip it after a few days, so... it would seem something is preventing your system from reading it.

Your log does not note that it tried to load the keys; is it disabled on your system? Normally, you would see an attempt to download the keys before it displays the "saving dump file" message.

I don’t think I disabled it, how is it enabled/disabled?

On the Preferences->General tab, "Enable Internet access" needs to be checked. You will also want to make sure your MakeMKV data directory is set to something OTHER THAN where MakeMKV is installed, so that data can be written to it (the default install directory is locked from general access on most systems).

After that, you want to close the program and restart it if you made changes.

Enabled internet access is checked, and I changed the location of the data directory to my desktop, under proxy servers I had 8.8.8.8, then in the first pic you can see what it says, then when I removed the proxy server, left it blank, the second pic says SDF and HK failed, what should I put where it says proxy server? or should I leave it blank? weird. Thanks again.

OK, now it's trying to access the hash key file, but failing because your system is being blocked. You do NOT want 8.8.8.8 as a proxy server in most circumstances (at least not in MakeMKV), buy you do need to take care of the blocking of data download.

Start here: Fixing Volume Key is Unknown

Thanks, I followed all the steps in that link, all but the Fixing geo blocking part, which I have no idea how to do, hopefully I'll be able to find a step by step tutorial. thanks for your time.

Can you believe this? I figured it out, went on the Xfinity Internet app under advanced security setting, for my Mac mini, and it said there was a site that was blocked, so I was able to unblock it and now it works. Thanks again. 👍🏼
