Dump submission process

Post by material » Mon Dec 06, 2021 6:06 am

Hi everyone - new to the forum so apologies if this question has been asked a hundred times.

I've recently moved to Japan and am picking up a few anime UHD discs. To submit a dump file for the database, is the process as simple as emailing over the tgz file generated by MakeMKV to support@makemkv.com? Wondering if I need to include any additional information for context.

Many thanks in advance.

I have a few that are ready to send but the files are too large to send in gmail, would it be ok to send with a google drive link for you to access?

So long as you send the link to svq@makemkv.com to retrieve it; that is where it has to go.

Here, we just care about the file name (with the 4-character code at the end), so that others know it's been submitted.
