Jamless Play

Looking to buy a new Bluray drive and thinking of the ASUS BW-16D1HT - does anyone know if this is one of the LG-made drives that has the accursed jamless play "feature" that makes bad rips? I don't see it listed in the specs but I want to be very sure.

On a related note, does anyone know a way to crossflash an LG WH12LS38 to something without the jamless play feature?

In case of the LG /ASUS friendly drives just flash the ASUS firmware. It doesn't support jamless play. No idea if that old 12LS38 even does jamless play.
