Try using the ORIGINAL disc DIRECTLY with only MakeMKV, with no other pre-processing software, such as DVDFab or AnyDVD...

Is it possible for Mike or setarip_old to let us know whether it's useful for us to continue posting HD-DVD problem disks? Are there any of these disks where the new versions of MakeMKV have enabled them to be ripped safely?

I only ask as I do have some (not many) disks that in the past I've been unable to rip, and haven't recently tried to see whether changes made to MakeMKV have enabled this to happen.

most of the problems i have is when the disc has been scratched otherwise all the blu-ray discs and dvds i have dumped so far using this program i have had no problem with so for those having issues i think most of the time if u can clean the disk and remove scratches the dump should work

Has anyone successfully copied Pan's Labyrinth ??? Have tried 3 discs and all fail...is it because of the 7.1 DTS ??? AnyDVDHD will rip the disc with no problems, Clown BD rips with no problems...so why not Makemkv ???
