Just picked up a USB BD-RW, surprised to see it has such an old firmware. I know this is currently based on RS1XXX, is it possible to update this to something that will support LIbreDrive, or is it just a dead end?

Drive Information
OS device name: /dev/sr0
Current profile: BD-ROM
Manufacturer: PIONEER
Product: BD-RW BDR-TD03
Revision: 1.20
Serial number:
Firmware date: 2011-07-15
Bus encryption flags: 1B
Highest AACS version: 62

LibreDrive Information
Status: Possible, but very unlikely to happen
Drive platform: Pioneer RS1027
Firmware version: ID72

No disc inserted

Forget about it. Most likely will never get libredrive enabled and even if it does at some point, it will never be able to rip UHD.
Cheers :D

Thanks for the quick reply.

From the information in SDF.bin (v8D), I think FW1.01 (ID69) can enable LibreDrive, but the updater I have is only FW1.02 (ID69)...
Can FW1.02 (ID69) enable LibreDrive?

I can also get ID05 versions FW1.01 and FW1.02, but my drive is ID69 so I can't apply them...

Thank you.

As I thought, I still need 1.01.
But so far I can't find 1.01 on the internet...
Do you know of any site where I can get it?

Or can your flasher solve this problem? If so I will send you an email.
