You bought the 5,25" drive? A recommended case is the OWC Mercury Pro. It will fit if you bend some small tabs diffent to what people say on Amazon. After your confirmation you will get another PM.

Tell me your country of residence and if you want a 5,25" or a slim drive.

Hi,
my 5 year old drive seems to be dying. I am really interested in a recommendation for a current 5,25" drive which can be bought in Germany.
Thanks!

I've pretty much read through this entire forum and have seen some mixed experiences. I've lowered my options down to what I can buy on Amazon that is UHD compatible and preferably ready to go without flashing. I'm looking for fast and reliable.
Archgon Premium 8541608851
Verbatim 43888
LG WP50NB40
USA, prefer slim drive
Any input is appreciated. I'm also open to other suggestions.
P.S. I will read my messages, Cooper

The Verbatim 43888 is not available in the US but those Verbatims which are avaible can be flashed.
