power outage when flashing

and now my bh16ns55 cant read any media reflashing isnt working and i have no backup files. how can i recover? my bet cal data is corrupted in the flash

Try using the official LG updater

i have try to flash with official lg 1.03 wh16ns60 firmware and nothing. sn is looks strange to me too i think this drive needs full fw flash with dosflash. i have a comatible sata but this drive wont enter vendor mode (status 51)

Flash back to your normal drive then use that LG updater and see if it works

i see well that really should not happen but i do see sn is messed up and thats with cal data.

i have alot of old cal data i can share with you for lg and asus drives so if you get dosflash working i can send it to you to flash

dosflash cant ventor intro this drive. i can flash othe drives fine though. make mkv makemkvcon64.exe can flash it though but does write the eeprom area of the drive too? if not do you know how to unlock this drive for dosflash

Try flashing WH16NS60 1.00. This should hopefully then allow the use of Dosflash.

Be sure your using 32 bit windows in ide mode

Also makesure your using the dosflash provided in my video.

And as Marty said you should be on WH16NS60 1.00 with full flash to make sure bootloader is written as that what dosflash talks to

yes im using 32 bit windows. ive use dosflash multiple time so i know my pc is compatible with it. but where can i find you version of dosflash? maybe yours can intro the device and can write read to it

yes thats exacly the dosflash im using. i flash to wh16ns60 1.00 as instructed with makemkvcon64.exe. since the drive is in boot mode and sdfgui refuse to flash it. but dosflash still cant intro the device
