The implication being I should add my dump into his post? My assumption was to post it separately as to not get lost in the fray, but if that is the SOP, I'll abide.

Generally, one thread per movie is enough. Some movies end up needing quite a few different hashed keys, so if there is one thread per hashed key, we'd end up getting lost in a different way. :D

This is the response from MakeMKV on the new Civil War 4K bluray disc

MakeMKV v1.17.7 win(x64-release) started
Using LibreDrive mode (v06.3 id=62194E19F4EC)
Using direct disc access mode
Loaded content hash table, will verify integrity of M2TS files.
Saved AACS dump file as C:\Users\xxxx/.MakeMKV/MKB20_v77_Civil_War_943A.tgz
The volume key is unknown for this disc - video can't be decrypted
Failed to open disc

currently having the similar issue
