Dial M For Murder Blu Ray Rip

I am trying to rip 1954 Dial M For Murder Blu Ray.

I keep getting an error. I don't know much about all of this and am hoping someone can help or point me in the right direction.

I have attached a log.

No log attached. You can insert the relevant parts in the message between code tabs [code][/code].

Without the error, it's impossible to tell what the problem is.

I can play the blu ray just fine (in 2d) from my blu ray player (hooked to tv). But I still can't get it ripped. It will rip the extras only. Sure hoping someone can help as I have no idea what to do.

Errors like that indicate the optical drive was unable to correctly read a spot on the disc. Often this is because the disc is dirty. The standard advice is to gently clean the disc and try again.

I will clean and try again. There are 2 extras, which rip fine and 4 versions of the movie, none of which rip. I hope this fixes it.

I don't know how to copy the files from the disc manually. When I try to find instructions everything points me to ripping which I can't get it to do. Wanted to try this.

Do I just drag them to my hard drive?

Do you have a different optical drive you can try the disc in? It is remarkable how often the same disc in a different drive produces different results.

It is unlikely to work, buy you could also try to make a decrypted backup of the disc. On the first screen of MakeMKV, in the row of icons along the top there's one with a yellow folder with a green arrow. That will start you down the path of making a backup of the disc instead of ripping a specific title. If that works, you can open the backup in MakeMKV and create .mkv files from the backup.

I have another drive but it is only dvd. I am able to get a refund from the seller so I am going to do that and buy another copy.
