Blue ray drive

I’m just ripping some doctor who shows since it got removed from streaming would any old blue ray drive work? LG Electronics 8X USB 2.0 Super Multi Ultra Slim Portable DVD Writer Drive +/-RW External Drive with M-DISC Support (Black) GP65NB60

If they are Bluray disks, a standard BD drive will work. DVD-only drives will not.

The problem is when they are 4K UHD disks, which requires a more modern drive.
