If I just want to rip DVD/Blurays (no UHD), do I even need to flash/modify my drive at all? I've read around the forums here, but perhaps I'm missing something right in front of my face, sort of an explanation of what you need for what types of media.
I seem to think I need a Libredrive, since I'm not using UHD. But then I saw someone write somewhere (here or Reddit) that if you aren't doing UHD then MakeMKV by itself is fine?
Would appreciate a poke of assistance. I did use the search function, but it didn't help because I don't quite know the right term to search for.
I don't want UHD. Do I need to flash anything?
