Hi all,

I just got a new pioneer BDR-UD03 1.14, ripped a blu-ray straight with makemkv with no problems.
But when I put a UHD Disk into the drive it spits it back out after like 10-15 seconds.
Anybody able to help me or point me in the right direction?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the PIONEER BD-RW BDR-S13U firmware V1.05.
Is there a revised firmware version for this in the meantime?

Is there a flash program that can flash the firmware V1.05 back to V1.02?
(How is LG and ASUS?) Sdftool_flasher.Exe or ASUS_ODD_FW_Changer_(Modified).Exe

This is a Pioneer 212 drive, not a LG. Check your PM.

Sadly both of you are out of luck there is no way to flash those at all.
I recommend returning them and buy pioneers with old fw from a seller or getting a pioneer 212 and getting it professionally flashed.

Firmware date: 2023-08-01
Pretty much "planned by Pioneer to not be supported" unless the firmware can be overwritten. Anything with firmware dates after December 2022 is broken deliberately.
