I'm also looking for a compatible external drive. Drive size does not matter.
Located in Austria. Thanks!

Hey :)
Would also be interesseted in which drive is currently most reliable for LibreDrive 2024.
Located Germany
Would Prefer 5,25" over external
Would like to read 4k-Blurays but it doesnt have to.
Also older / used Modells are welcome, but then with the information which years of manufacturing are useable. Because i read that e.g. the BC-12D2HT is only flashable with versions built after 2015.
With best regards :)

Hi,

Don't know why this is all done via PM, but I am also looking for a good drive.
Location: Germany
Would like a small external drive or (of needed) a 5.25" drive that works in external enclosure.

Because transactions are private; this site isn't just one vendor selling stuff, and the vendors don't own the forum.

They would have different requirements if they did, but that's something else.

Don't criticize anything you don't know about the reasons behind. Read your PM.

a) Did I criticise anything? I said I don't know why it is all in PMs, implying I would like some explanation.
b) I didn't get any PMs, yet.

Transactions are one thing, which I get should be private. A thread titled "Recommendations for best drive" is something where I would expect some more transparency. But that could just be me.

Thanks, not sure what the policy here is to gain PM permissions... do you also have an offer on UHD ? Just asking, I might be still going for the BD Version
