Error trying to rip 4kUHD video with Verbatim 43888

I'm following a guide on YouTube called "How to Rip 4K & Blu-Ray Movies | The Official Guide" - Michael Andrew, but I'm having trouble trying to jailbreak the drive.
I downloaded the SDFTool Flasher and the "All you need Firmware Pack", Selected my drive and the DE_LG_BU40N_1.03_MK bin
But when I hit START, I get 'Command produced error code 0xffffffff'

yeah you dont do that with sdf tool the pioneers dont use a publicly available flasher.
but the drive you have should just work post the makemkv drive info section in text
