MakeMKV Not Working

Post by Tyler94 » Sat Mar 16, 2024 3:19 am

Used MakeMKV several times a couple months ago for some Blu-rays. Trying to digitize some more and now MakeMKV isn't working. I'll launch the program and when the disc is read I'll click on the drive icon to open the disc and make an MKV file. Only issue is once it starts spinning up it stops and give me this message. "Evaluation period has expired. Please purchase an activation key if you've found this application useful. You may still use all free functionality without any restrictions." This is a fresh install of MakeMKV and I've reinstalled it several times. I've uninstalled it normally on windows 10 from the application settings and used Revo uninstaller, same issue. It's the same computer, same drive and firmware as before. Even the drive and firmware that this forum recommends. I think MakeMKV is bugged. If you got anything that might help, that would be much appreciated, thanks.

Are you trying to use the key that is "built in" to the file you downloaded, or the one posted in the forum each time it changes? It DOES change every 60 days, which is why it's posted.
