4k disc degrading

Hi, I have a quick question does ripping degrade 4K discs in anyway.

No. It is more or less the same as playing it in a regular player.

No not really most of the damage comes from placing it in the tray or snapping it on the the loading mechanism.

I have discs I have used 1000s of times and still work fine for testing.
