Playing MKV through TV issue

Hi All,

I have a LG TV which has a USB slot, I have a seagate external HDD with loads of AVI, VOBS and MKV files. All seem to play without an issue.

However, all MKV's I make using MakeMKV work fine on my PC, once I have put them on my HDD and attempted to play them through the TV it just stops straight away and goes back to a "select file" screen. As I mentioned the MKV's play fine on my PC.

Any Ideas ?

Could be anything - most likely no support for particular codec. try re-muxing MKV files with mkvmerge, removing tracks, to see if the problem can be fixed.
